We are SportScore Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), and we operate a website and applications that bring you live scores, results, statistics, and other information from the world of sports (the “platform”).

We process this personal data as data controllers, and by means of this Policy we would like to inform you about how we handle personal data. It also includes information about the date of registration and the last login.
Marketing information: Information on your consent to marketing, the number of emails and notifications sent, delivered, and opened, any marketing campaigns we addressed to you, and your marketing profile that we created based on your use of the platform.
Feedback on our platform: Your feedback provided within publicly available sources, such as reviews on platforms offering our application for download, or that you provide to us when communicating with us.
Records with identifiers: Randomly generated identifiers assigned to you for monitoring the functioning of the platform and reporting technical defects.

Not-Collected Data

At no point do we collect personal or sensitive personal data that could lead to a person being positively identified beyond what is described above. We never collect data about race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships, genetic or biometric data, health or mortality, sex life or sexual orientation, unless we are legally required by a court of law to do so.

Why We Process Personal Data (Purposes of Processing)

Below we describe the individual reasons (purposes) for processing of your personal data when you use our platform.

To Ensure the Platform’s Functionality and Technical Operation

If you access our platform, whether you have a user account or not, we automatically start processing Technical data and Records with identifiers. We process these in order to ensure the technical operation of the platform, remove any reported technical errors, optimise, and ensure the security of the platform. We process all personal data for this purpose on the basis of our legitimate interest, which lies in ensuring the technical operation and security of the platform. We will process this data about you for no longer than the duration of your account with us, and if you do not have an account, then for 1 month.

For the Registration of a User Account and the Use of Our Services

If you create a user account with us and use the functionalities of our platform associated with the user account, additional personal data is processed. Such processing is related to your registration, during which you accept our terms and conditions, thereby establishing a contractual relationship between you and us. The personal data is then processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, or to take steps at your request before concluding the contract. If you do not wish to provide personal data, we will not be able to set up a user account for you. For these purposes, we process your Data related to registration and login, Technical data, Data on the use of the user account functionalities and the platform, and Records with identifiers, for the duration of your account.

Because Legal Regulations Apply to Us

Our activities and the operation of our platform are regulated by legal regulations. In order to fulfil legal obligations, we must record and process information that may include your personal data, in particular Data related to registration and login and Data on the use of the user account functionalities and the platform. We will process this data about you for as long as necessary to fulfil the legal obligations in accordance with the relevant generally binding legal regulations.

For Our Targeted Marketing

For the purpose of sending commercial communications (marketing offers) promoting us or third parties, or for carrying out other marketing activities towards you (e.g., customising offers according to your use of the platform so that they are as relevant as possible), we process your personal data where legal regulations allow us to do so or if you have given us your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, in the case of emails via the corresponding unsubscribe link in the email footer, and in the case of push notifications via the platform settings.

For the Purposes of Mutual Communication

If you decide to contact us, either directly or via the contact form, we will process Communication data and Technical data for the purpose of ensuring communication between you and us, on the basis of our legitimate interest. We will process this data until the end of the year following the year in which we received it.

For Obtaining and Researching Feedback

Our platform could not function without you and your valuable feedback. Therefore, we also process your data for the purpose of obtaining and researching feedback. We may process your Feedback on our platform, on the basis of our legitimate interest to properly process this feedback with the aim of analysis and obtaining information for the operation and development of our platform. We will process the data no later than until the end of the year following the year in which we first processed such information.

For Recording and Protecting Rights and Legal Claims

We have a legitimate interest in protecting our rights and our platform, and for this purpose we may, if necessary, process your personal data obtained in connection with other purposes, in particular Marketing information, Technical data, Communication data, Data on the use of the user account functionalities and the platform, and Data related to registration and login, for as long as necessary to protect our own legal claims, at least 3 years from the cancellation of your account.

In such a case, we will immediately stop processing your personal data for the purposes for which the consent was obtained. By withdrawing your consent, however, you will not affect the fact that prior to the withdrawal, we processed your personal data lawfully.
Right to rectification. You have the right to request that we correct or supplement your personal data.
Right to erasure (right to be forgotten). You can ask us to erase your personal data and we will gladly do so unless there is a specific legal reason for retaining it.

A user access request should be completed within 30 days.

System Logs and Maintenance

For operation and maintenance purposes, we may collect files that record your interaction with our products (System Logs) or use for this purpose other personal data (such as IP Address). That data will not be stored permanently and will not be available to sell or rent to anyone.

Children

SportScore is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Certain content on SportScore may relate to betting and gambling. You must be 18 years or older to access such content.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. It is strongly recommended to check this page often. If you object to any of the changes to the policy, you may request from us to erase your personal data.
