About the UEFA European Championship
The UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as the Euros, is the primary international football tournament for senior men's national teams governed by UEFA. Held every four years since 1960, the competition has expanded from an initial four-team knockout to its current 24-team format that includes a group stage and a knockout phase. Spain are the most successful nation in the tournament's history with four titles (1964, 2008, 2012, 2024), followed by Germany with three. Euro 2024 was held in Germany and won by Spain after defeating England 2-1 in the Berlin final.
