About the CONMEBOL Copa America
The CONMEBOL Copa América is the main men's international football tournament of South America. Dating back to 1916, it is the oldest international continental football championship in the world. The tournament features the ten CONMEBOL nations plus invited teams from CONCACAF and other confederations. Argentina won the 2024 edition hosted across the United States, defeating Colombia 1-0 in the final after extra time and claiming a record 16th continental title.
